Terms and Conditions

Definitions

For clarity in this document, the following terms apply:

  • Agreement – the full set of documents that govern the cooperation, including proposals, these terms, and any written addenda mutually accepted by both parties.
  • Client Content – all text, images, data, or other materials supplied by the client for use within the project.
  • Deliverables – all work items and outcomes produced by hiredjangodevelopers.com as outlined in the agreement.
  • Tools – resources such as frameworks, software, templates, or code libraries used to complete the project.
  • Final Deliverables – completed and approved project outputs delivered to the client.
  • Project – the scope of work, goals, and timelines described in the agreed proposal.
  • Services – any development or related work performed by hiredjangodevelopers.com.
  • Third-Party Materials – licensed assets, stock content, or external software incorporated into the deliverables.

Development Services

We undertake to provide software development services according to the project scope, schedule, and specifications set out in the approved documentation.

Proposal Validity

Proposals are valid for thirty (30) days. After expiration, they may be revised or reissued to reflect updated pricing, availability, or scope.

Fees and Expenses

  • Development Fees – cover only the agreed scope of work.
  • External Costs – such as plugins, hosting, or third-party licenses, will be invoiced separately.
  • Reimbursable Expenses – travel or other direct costs will be charged at actual cost.
  • Tax Responsibility – the client is responsible for applicable taxes on all fees.

Payment Terms

  • Invoices – payment is due within five (5) calendar days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Milestones – payments must follow the installment schedule defined in the proposal.

Scope Adjustments

  • Change Requests – must be submitted in writing. We will provide updated pricing and timeline estimates within five (5) business days.
  • Minor Revisions – billed at our standard hourly rate.
  • Major Revisions – where scope increases by more than 20% or significantly changes direction, a new proposal will be issued.

Project Delays

  • Client Delays – lack of timely content, approvals, or communication may result in rescheduling.
  • Our Delays – if delays occur on our side, we will notify the client promptly.
  • Force Majeure – events beyond our control (natural disasters, regulations, outages) may extend deadlines without penalty.

Review and Approval

  • Testing – deliverables will be tested to meet agreed functional and industry standards.
  • Client Review – clients must review milestones within seven (7) business days. Feedback or approval must be provided in writing.
  • Revision Window – requested changes will be addressed within fourteen (14) business days.

Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Supply necessary materials in an accessible, usable format.
  • Confirm the accuracy of provided information.
  • Respond to approval requests and decisions without undue delay.

Attribution and Promotion

  • Credit – unless agreed otherwise, we may include a discreet attribution link on digital deliverables.
  • Portfolio Rights – we may showcase final deliverables in our portfolio, case studies, or marketing materials.
  • Public Reference – either party may mention the collaboration publicly, subject to mutual approval.

Confidentiality

Any confidential information exchanged will be handled with strict discretion and used solely for project purposes. This obligation does not apply to information already public or lawfully obtained from third parties.

Business Relationship

  • Subcontracting – we may engage trusted subcontractors but remain responsible for delivery.
  • Non-Exclusive – both parties retain the freedom to work with other clients or vendors.
  • Independent Contractor – we operate independently and are not employees, agents, or legal partners of the client.

Limitation of Liability

  • Maximum Liability – is capped at the total amount of fees actually paid by the client.
  • No Indirect Damages – we are not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages. Services are provided on an “as is” basis.

Intellectual Property

  • The client receives a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the final deliverables.
  • Modification or use of deliverables outside the agreed scope requires prior written consent.
  • Core tools, code libraries, or frameworks developed or used remain the intellectual property of hiredjangodevelopers.com.

Post-Delivery Support

  • Basic Support – included for a limited time after project completion.
  • Extended Support – available under a separate maintenance or service agreement.
  • Unauthorized Changes – alterations by third parties void any included support coverage.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. The latest version will always be available on this website. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
